Many customers who have decided to switch to RECARO expect not only its world's premium seating comfort but also its significant presence (special impact to any eye) in the interior. These were our propositions to such customers. What you see on the right is a rear seat for Toyota Hiace made especially for this exhibition. With this beautiful coloring, it will be hard to imagine that this is the rear seat for Hiace. Actually, RECARO accepts orders for re-covering of rear seats. This was a reference exhibit of a back shell of a dressed up Sportster. The formative beauty when viewed from the back has been one of the characteristics for many RECARO seats. Therefore, we have been receiving a number of requests for adding more designs to that beautiful form. This is only an example of designs and we are planning to release limited models of back shells with special designs.
In this exhibition area, some similar models selected from the existing catalog were displayed so that the visitors could actually feel the differences produced by precise and fine tunings.
The picture on the left shows the RS-G and TS-G seats selected from the full bucket seat series. What was compared here was a wider field of front vision with the RS-G to a lower backrest position for attaining a lower eye point position with the TS-G.
In the picture on the right, the SR-6, SR-11, SR-7 and SR-7F seats are shown. These four models having the same structure have been tuned differently in the overall form, support configuration, hardness and density of urethane pads, sewing, etc. to offer a full lineup, aiming to respond to each customer’s diversified needs. The RECARO sports reclining seats “SR series” was completed with the SR-7F which was released in November 2009. They were all displayed here for comparison.
The exhibits here were the advanced models chosen from the sports seat category.
The models shown on the left are the SP-X and the Sportster. They are the leading-edge models where the shell structure of hybrid type has been adopted for the backrests and the seat cushions. The comparison here was between the SP-X with rather spartan holding ability and the Sportster with rather open-ended feeling.
The seats shown on the right are the SPORT-JC model equipped with the power function. One is the version finished in high quality Alcantara on the entire surface and the other is the version finished in a combination of sporty material Kamui and shining mesh. The purpose here was to offer a comparison of different seat fabrics.
