Beijing OD Motorsport has officially announced the participation in China Circuit championship (CCC) race series under the name " Team OD Motorsport " .
Team OD Motorsport will race in season 2009 with BMW E90 320i which makes it the first team in CCC to race with a BMW car.
12 Dec, 2008 during the final race of CCC 2008 racing season that took place in Shanghai TianMa Circuit, Team OD Motorsport made its on site presentation that was attended by a number of esteemed guests representing different businesses from China and abroad. It was a great time for everyone.
OD Motorsport is involved in car racing since 2005 by cooperation with a famous international BMW team participating in ATCC and WTCC. OD Motorsport is highly experienced in Team management, BMW racing technology and touring car racing skills. OD Motorsport maintains good relationship with BMW Motorsport department, several WTCC BMW teams while being a long term partner of a number of leading racing parts suppliers.
Since CCC hasn't changed (as was highly expected) its unique Chinese regulations that differ from the FIA rules, Team OD Motorsport is not able to race with a WTCC spec. car. To build a nearly unique BMW race car following Chinese regulations while trying to approach the performance of the WTCC BMW is the challenge OD Motorsport has set to itself.
